Armenia is a country of mountains situated on the western crossroads of Asia and Eastern Europe. Many amazing destinations surrounds it, like Turkey, Georgia and Iran. Armenia, being a unitary, democratic nation state is famous for its ancient cultural heritage. In the early years 4th Century Armenia was the first state in the world ever to adopt Christianity as its main or official religion. It is also called the “first Christian Nation”. The Armenian Apostolic Church which is the world’s oldest national church is one of the major attractions here in Armenia.
